Jarrod Blundy - Camp Director
2020 will mark Jarrod’s fourth summer as Camp Director at FSR, and 12th as a camp staff member!
Who are you, and where are you from?
Howdy! My name is Jarrod Blundy, and I grew up in Ionia, Michigan. Now I live with my wife, dog, cat, and turtle in Brunswick.
What’s your Scouting history?
I grew up in the Scouting program when I started as a Tiger Scout and am proud to be an Eagle Scout today. It was the best thing that my parents did for me as a kid, and I cherish the years I spent in Scouts with my dad!
Why do you love camp and what are you most looking forward to this summer?
Camp season is my favorite time of the year! Getting to work outside all summer is a privilege and I love interacting with all our Cub Scouts and their leaders!
Favorite color?
Tiger Cub orange is my favorite! On Tuesdays at camp you’ll see me wear my legacy Tiger Cub t-shirt. (Yes, that’s Tiger T-shirt Tuesday)
Do you have a favorite food?
I love me some spaghetti. It’s been my favorite for as long as I can remember — cheap or fancy, I love it all!
Favorite super hero?
Spider-Man, definitely. I've always had a fascination with climbing, and he's both funny and stand-up guy!
