Merit Badge Partners

Organizations around Northeast Ohio make special programs available to Scouts, and are trained as Merit Badge Counselors. Check out the unique opportunities to earn badges on your own, or with your Unit!

National Park Service

Scouts seeking a variety of merit badges may participate in interactive programs at the James A. Garfield National Historic Site (JAGNHS) in Mentor, Ohio. JAGNHS is part of the National Park Service, and interprets the home of our 20th president James A. Garfield.

Cleveland MetroParks

The Cleveland MetroParks are fantastic places to discover new interests, and learn from professionals who work in the field each and every day! They offer fun classes throughout the year for Scouts to experience the parks in a whole new way. They are also happy to work with troops if they have a group of 10 or more scouts that would like a merit badge, and can schedule a private program for that troop.
