Make a Reservation

To request and reserve one of the Lake Erie Council’s mobile climbing walls fill out the request form below. All mobile climbing wall requests need to be made at least two weeks prior to the event. The request does not guarantee the wall(s) will be available for the request date. A council employee will reach out to confirm information.

Pricing

Invoice payments are due in full two Fridays before the event date.

Self-facilitated Event: $200 for a 12-hour rental

  • Unit transports the wall from pick-up to drop-off (needs 1/2-ton truck or equivalent vehicle, must be able to tow 5000 lbs, 7-pin electrical input, & 2-5/16” ball hitch, electric trailer brake capability preferred)

  • Unit provides at least two (2) trained adults to set up and facilitate the climbing event

  • Includes the wall, all safety gear, and set-up equipment

  • Unit is responsible for safety of participants

  • Unit is responsible for damage to the rental equipment, including the climbing tower

  • Check-out and Check-in times will be determined on a case-by-case basis

Council-facilitated Event: $400 for Scouting units and $250/hr (3 hour Minimum) Plus $1 PER Mile Delivery for outside groups

  • Council transports the wall from pick-up to drop-off

  • Council provides two (2) trained Facilitator to set up and run the climbing event for four hours (set-up and tear-down time not included)

  • Includes the wall, all safety gear, and set-up equipment

  • Scheduling is limited to availability of Facilitators

  • Council is responsible for safety of participants and equipment

Recruiting Events

  • Please contact Mike Zeber about the criteria for a no-cost recruitment event reservation. This is for self-facilitated events.

  • Council-facilitated recruitment events are 50% off, at a cost of $200.

Facilitator Training

If you are at least 21 years old, you can become a trained facilitator to run climbing events with he mobile climbing wall. Training takes only four hours, and will provide you with all you need to know about setting up the wall, proper check of equipment, running the climbing event, and transportation tips. Facilitator Resources
