Did someone turn the lights out?! No, that’s just the total eclipse! Did you know, this April 8th, there is going to be a total eclipse with 100% totality in Ohio. That won’t happen again until 2444.
In celebration, Lake Erie Council is throwing a big old party or shin’dig if you are Anthony. Scouts come out to Firelands Scout Reservation from April 6th – April 8th for a galactic good time! There will be BBs, archery, slingshots, rock climbing, and you can earn your NOVA ward if you are a Cub Scout but Scouts BSA don’t worry you can enjoy rifles, shotguns, multiple merit badges and so much more. Know someone who isn’t a Scout?! Invite them out for the day on April 8th. We will have Solar Eclipse and Space themed activities all day including a fishing competition and a dance glow party which you can see I’m most excited about! Scouts and Astronomy fans come out for this once in a lifetime out of this world opportunity.
