Fifteen higher education institutions, in conjunction with the Lake Erie Council, Boy Scouts of America, announced they are offering potentially millions in scholarship dollars to Scouts to recognize the high achievement of Eagle Scouts and in some cases Life Scouts.
The fifteen institutions that have designated scholarships so far include Allegheny College, Baldwin Wallace University, , Hampton Sydney College, Hillsdale College, Hiram College, Lake Erie College, Mercyhurst University, Notre Dame College, Ohio Wesleyan University, Otterbein University, The College of Wooster, University of Mount Union, University of Evansville, University of Illinois, and Westminster College.
