Stewards of Firelands
Dear friends of Firelands,
I am writing to invite you to our thirty-second annual Stewards of Firelands meeting scheduled for Monday evening the 15th of May. We scheduled it back to our traditional time of year, the Monday after Mother’s Day. Come have a tour of camp, enjoy a steak dinner, fellowship with other Stewards, and help support Firelands for the next generation of campers.
This summer we are looking forward to hosting two NYLT courses, an almost sold-out Wood badge course. Welcoming back Cub Scouts for more S’more Cub Adventures where they will learn advancements and have fun for 4 days and 3 nights. Firelands continues to support Scouts BSA programs year-round with merit badge weekends, Klondike derbies, and camporees
For over three decades, the Stewards have had a positive impact on Firelands Scout Reservation. In fact, this past year, generous members provided the opportunity to complete 47,765 worth of projects. With the support of our Stewards, we continued to make improvements for our Scouts!
The mission of Scouting pushes forward, and Scouting has not stopped at Firelands. We continue to offer Scouts a reprieve from being homebound with weekend camping, exciting Scouting overnighters, day events, and building upon Scouting's long tradition of developing youth leadership. Your support is needed now more than ever to keep these great programs.

A big part of our extraordinary success last year was due to the generosity of many of our first-time Stewards. I encourage you to invite a new friend this year- someone you think would want to help us make a difference. Let us shoot for over 200 stewards this year.
