WHY MONTHLY GIVING?

Monthly giving is a hassle-free, affordable way to have a big impact. Having a reliable stream of support allows Lake Erie Council to plan better and save time, paper and postage, while enabling you to deliver the promises of Scouting in Northeast Ohio.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN MY MEMBER BENEFITS?

Dependent on your membership level, LEC offers several recognition items including collector patches.

WHEN WILL I BE BILLED?

Your credit card will be billed monthly, recurring on the day of your first monthly transaction.  Gifts made over the weekend will have an adjusted date to the following business day.

WHAT IF MY CARD IS ABOUT TO BE EXPIRED OR I WANT TO SWITCH CARDS?

We will send you a notice one month prior to the expiration date on your card, letting you know that it is about to expire.  You can change or update your information at any time by calling 216-331-4602. 

IS THERE A MINIMUM AMOUNT FOR KEEPERS OF THE FLAME MEMBERSHIP?

The minimum monthly commitment is $5 per month.

HOW DO I CANCEL MY MONTHLY DONATION?

You can cancel at any time by calling 216-331-4602 or emailing shondell.williams@scouting.org.

CAN I CHANGE MY DONATION AMOUNT?

Yes! To change your monthly donation amount, call 216-331-4602 or email shondell.williams@scouting.org with the new amount.

HOW CAN I CLAIM THE DONATIONS FOR TAX PURPOSES?

Each month, we will send out a donation statement for your monthly gift.

HOW WILL MY MONTHLY GIFT BE ACKNOWLEDGED? 

In addition to a thank you letter from our office upon receipt of your monthly giving pledge, your name will also appear in publications as a member of Keepers of the Flame.  If you would like remain anonymous, please let us know.
